Richard L. Kitterman D.V.M.
Practice owner and medical director
Dr. Kitterman is a long-time staple of the Richmond veterinary
community. He is a Kansan
native, receiving his undergraduate in
Animal Science from Kansas State University, followed by his Doctorate in
Veterinary Medicine in 1984. He practiced in the Richmond area for 3
years before taking over over
Oxbridge Veterinary Clinic in 1987. Dr. Kitterman quickly garnered a
reputation as a fine practitioner, and one of very few that provide care for
exotics. His daily routine has him as likely to see a pet snake or
chicken as a dog or cat. If you have pocket pets, small mammals, birds,
or reptiles, then you likely already know Dr. Kitterman. Chesterfield has
certainly been lucky to have him in this area.
Dr.
Kitterman resides in southwest Chesterfield County, and spends much of his free
time cultivating his park-like flower garden and koi pond. He also enjoys
woodworking, rock collecting, and photography.
